Elevated Resources

At Elevated Parish Missions, our goal is to "ignite hearts; and revive parishes". This not only happens during our three-day mission events... but also beyond! In the months that follow our missions, we continue to 'fan the flame of the Holy Spirit' by offering additional accompaniment and proven approaches to increasing the spiritual health and engagement of a parish. As part of that process, we recommend the use of the resources below which are offered by notable Catholic entities. They are sure to 'elevate' one's faith walk to a higher level!

Catholics today face many obstacles to a vibrant relationship with Christ. Many are without community and lack support in their faith journey. Many do not know what they believe, and even if they do, they may not be living out their beliefs or sharing them with others. Out of a passion to help people to have the relationship with Christ, Franciscan University of Steubenville has created the Discipleship Quad: a group of four people who journey together as disciples.  Through weekly gatherings of fellowship, ongoing conversion, and learning, your faith will be enlivened and your walk as a disciple emboldened.

The Catechetical Institute (CI) is a large-scale international outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville for ministry formation.  Through our conferencesonline ministry tracks and workshopswebinarscatechetical journallocal eventsGuild small group circles and discussion forums, personal mentorship, and wealth of resources, we seek to support all those involved in the care of souls to grow in pastoral gentleness, faithful creativity, and bold confidence as they reach out to evangelize, accompany, and pass on the Catholic faith to others in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that being a good parent starts with being a great spouse.  But being a good parent or even a great spouse is hard, messy work. And we're not meant to do it alone!  So join us on this journey, because we believe that not only is marriage and family life a path to holiness, but it’s an incredible adventure!

In our highly impersonal, technology-driven society, there exists a longing to connect to each other and to Christ. Today the lay faithful are increasingly turning to spiritual direction to grow closer to Christ, heal from spiritual wounds, and handle life’s demands.  In spiritual direction, those who seek deeper intimacy with God open their hearts to a spiritual director who travels with them on their spiritual journey. This becomes like the encounter of Jesus with the woman at the well, the return of the prodigal son, and the blind man Bartimaeus—in which each person encounters the Lord and experiences ongoing conversion.
